1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Parentyx application and services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our Service.

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to create an account and use Parentyx. The Service is strictly intended for parents and legal guardians monitoring their minor children or dependents.

2. Legal and Permitted Use

Parentyx is a software solution designed exclusively for legal monitoring. You explicitly agree that you will only install Parentyx on devices that you own or have explicit, documented legal authorization to monitor.

You are the parent or legal guardian of the minor using the device.
You are the legal owner of the device and have informed the adult user of the monitoring (e.g., employee devices).
You take full responsibility for ensuring your use of Parentyx complies with all local, state, and federal laws.

3. Prohibited Activities

Any illegal use of Parentyx will result in immediate account termination and potential reporting to law enforcement agencies.

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

Monitor an adult (spouse, partner, friend) without their explicit, written consent.
Stalk, harass, or invade the privacy of any individual.
Intercept communications in violation of wiretapping or electronic communications privacy laws.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Parentyx application.

4. Data Privacy and Security

Parentyx employs military-grade AES-256 encryption. Your monitoring data is encrypted on the device and decrypted only on your dashboard. We do not have the encryption keys and cannot access your data.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you are the data controller for the information collected from the monitored device, and Parentyx acts merely as the data processor. You are responsible for the data you collect and retain.
